Visual Metaphor

Visual Metaphor are the ramblings of an engineering student up in University of Waterloo, Canada. My favorite rants are about philosophy, morality, religion, technology, society and culture with the occassional psychedelic poetry

1984

Wow, just finished the novel. I must say it is one of the best books I have read so far (along with Life of Pie and Sophie's World). Orwell is simply a genius to include the concepts he did in this book back in 1949! It actually gets quite philosophical as well, touching upon the nature of reality, past - present - future and who defines it, why should/n't there be equality for humanity, the difference between a single individual as mortal and the collective organization of individuals as immortal (in the passing on of their idealogy).

Well, ill continue my thoughts in the next post. Sleep for now.
