Visual Metaphor

Visual Metaphor are the ramblings of an engineering student up in University of Waterloo, Canada. My favorite rants are about philosophy, morality, religion, technology, society and culture with the occassional psychedelic poetry

Doggies

Just watching Discovery channel's Daily Planet. Awesome show. Yes, a bit nerdy, but quite interesting. Today's show was about how humans have influenced the genetic makeup (evolutionarily) of dogs and other domesticated animals (like goats) . For example, a dog has certain cognitive abilities with relations to humans that helps it survive better. It understands when a person is not paying attention to them (if their eyes are closed or distracted) while a chimpanzee would not notice the difference. Also, they understand what it means when a human points towards something.

anywho..nothing too shocking....something we could have guessed anyways..but noooo..they need people to research these things.
