far from truth
for i lay low
with my eyes weeping
the wrath of God is coming

love cannot be shown
for i am not deserving
in pain i sleep
not knowing the world beneath
the mercy of God is coming

i am to cold to this overwhelming epiphany
numb to intrinsic humbleness
my life has separated from the will to love
for i lack this simple kindness
